Vincent Bremmer

Vincent Bremmer

Managing Director

Vincent Bremmer is the Managing Director of Orangefield Group’s Hong Kong and Shanghai office.


Having twelve years experience in the industry, he has been responsible for several change-management processes and restructures while servicing clients with different backgrounds. Vincent is experienced in corporate and tax structuring for multinationals, private clients and investment funds.


Since he started his career with Orangefield Group in 2000, Vincent always had a strong focus on and interest in the Asia market. He established the Asia Desk in Orangefield’s Amsterdam office to provide customer support for Asian clients mainly coming from Korea, China, Taiwan and Hong Kong.


He became Managing Director of Orangefield Hong Kong in 2010 to grow the existing business and achieve regional expansion for the group which resulted in the acquisition of ICS TRUST during the summer of 2012. He now oversees the operations in Greater China as well as the group’s overall strategy to target further expansion in China during 2013 and 2014.


Vincent was born and raised in The Netherlands where he attained a LL.M. Master of Laws from the University of Amsterdam. He has since completed his post graduate education in Securities Law cum laude. Vincent is a member of the Dutch Chamber, the Hong Kong General Chamber as well as the Korean Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong. He is a native Dutch speaker, fluent in English and German with a good understanding of French. Moreover, Vincent is learning Mandarin and has some basic understanding of Korean.

Elizabeth L. Thomson

Chairwoman

Elizabeth L. Thomson established ICS TRUST (acquired by Orangefield Group in June 2012 and now known as Orangefield ICS) in Hong Kong in 1980 to support multinationals and private companies who were just starting to venture into business and trade with China and other parts of Asia. She believed her company, built on a foundation of trust and operating with the same high standards as top law firms, would thrive if it offered clients the sort of superior business services and loyal personal relationships that would let them focus on ensuring their own success. Proof of her vision and her leadership is the company’s steady growth for more than 30 years.

Ms. Thomson describes herself as a lawyer by profession, an entrepreneur by choice. She is a Governor of both the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and the American Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong, a founding member of AmCham’s Entrepreneurs Group, full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), fellow of the Asia Offshore Association, member of the International Tax Planning Association and member of the Hong Kong Trustees Association. Ms. Thomson is a member of the Law Societies of Ontario (Canada), the U.K., Hong Kong and Australia.

Kishore K. Sakhrani

Director

Mr. Sakhrani has been involved with Orangefield ICS, formerly ICS TRUST, since its founding in 1980. After helping Elizabeth Thomson to establish the company, he decided to enter the MBA program at the Richard Ivey School of Business at The University of Western Ontario. After earning his degree, he worked in the Leveraged Buyout department at Citibank Canada and in the Mergers and Acquisitions department at Burns Fry Ltd., Toronto. He returned to Hong Kong in 1990 to rejoin ICS TRUST.

Mr. Sakhrani is Chairman of Community Business, a non-profit group promoting community involvement, diversity and non-discrimination in Hong Kong. He chairs the Alumni Development Board of the Richard Ivey School of Business in Hong Kong. He is past President of the Rotary Club of Hong Kong South and former Chairman of the Indian Resources Group, which was instrumental in obtaining full British passports for Hong Kong residents who would otherwise be left stateless after the 1997 handover of Hong Kong to administration by the People’s Republic of China.

Callan Anderson

General Manager

Bringing with him over 20 years of valuable experience in management and consulting, Callan is a business specialist with significant private and public sector experience in strategic and business planning, human resource management and corporate services. Living and working in Hong Kong since 1999, he was a Board Director of the Canadian Chamber and is well accustomed to the complexities and challenges of a multinational environment.

Gillian Chan

Director, Business Development

Gillian Chan is the Director of Business Development at Orangefield Group’s Hong Kong office.

With 12 years’ experience in the financial industry in both Australia and Hong Kong, Gillian brings a wealth of knowledge in the Alternative Investment Fund space including private equity, real estate, hedge funds and fund of funds.

At Orangefield, she leads the business development and marketing team to focus on initiatives such as sourcing new business opportunities, identify new markets, product development, market research and brand recognition campaigns and events. “Exciting opportunities lie in the unknown and we are always keen to explore new markets and develop new products. Being at China’s doorstep is a huge advantage for us here in Hong Kong and we are leveraging our global office network to tap into new and exciting markets whilst still creating exposure for Orangefield globally.” Gillian is also responsible for expanding the Orangefield Fund Service offering into Asia and already has met with some success in 2012. In her previous roles at top tier financial and corporate institutions, she has had various financial and operational responsibilities that involves managing teams to attain operational excellence and process improvements with a strong focus on risk control and compliance.

A merit graduate from the University of New South Wales in Australia majoring in Accounting and Finance, she is a Certified Public Accountant of Australia and Fellow at the Financial Services Institute of Australasia. Gillian is a member of the Australian, American and Canadian Chambers. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin.

Claudia Bolanos

Manager, Business Development

With over 10 years’ international experience, Claudia Bolanos has worked in France, Hong Kong, South Korea, and Mexico for local and multinational companies.


Claudia has built upon her professional experience in Asia, Europe and America to understand the challenges faced by clients when dealing with multicultural environments. Having worked for over 4 years in Hong Kong, she is responsible for advising clients on their entry and expansion strategies to the Hong Kong and Mainland Chinese markets, finding the appropriate corporate structure, and efficiently planning their tax compliance with both the new jurisdiction and the headquarters.

Claudia has postgraduate studies in Strategy and Management in International Business from the ESSEC Business School in France and the EGADE in Mexico as well as a Bachelor of Law. She is fluent in English, French and Spanish.

Eliza Wu

Associate Director, Corporate Services

Eliza S. Y. Wu is the Associate Director of Corporate Services for Orangefield ICS . She has been with the company since 1984, handling company secretarial work for our clients’ Hong Kong and offshore companies and trusts.

Eliza is well-versed in both local and offshore jurisdictions with over 20 years of experience in company formation and management in Hong Kong and offshore centers, including Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Bahamas, Cayman Islands, Nevis and Panama. Prior to joining the company, Eliza worked in the corporate secretarial department of a law firm, a listed company and has worked in the office of the Secretariat for the Urban Council of the Hong Kong Government.

Eliza's focus at Orangefield ICS is on High Net Worth where her in-depth knowledge of the industry and the specific characteristics of offshore jurisdictions enables her to provide expert advice on asset protection and trust structuring for clients from all over the world. She also ensures compliance requirements are being met for our clients.

Eliza holds various certificates in Company Secretaryship and is an Associate Member of the Hong Kong Institute of Chartered Secretaries and an Associate Member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries & Administrators in the United Kingdom. She is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Donald Tsang

Head of Commercial Services

Bringing with him 10 years of professional experience in accounting and financial control management, Donald is a Certified Public Accountant with a diverse background in various sectors including manufacturing, trading, services and healthcare. Donald has a wealth of experience and knowledge in international accounting standards and general compliance requirements of Hong Kong companies, International Business Companies, and China structures.

Prior to joining the company, Donald served as senior manager for various Hong Kong and PRC based companies with respect to IPO’s, M&A, and corporate management advisory. During 4 years working in Shanghai, Donald gained knowledge re doing business in China including the establishment of and compliance for Foreign Investment Enterprises including Representative Offices (RO) and Wholly Foreign Owned Enterprises (WFOE) in all major cities of the PRC.

Donald’s focus at Orangefield ICS is on Doing Business in China, Virtual CFO services in Hong Kong and the PRC, trade services (DI/DE), China incorporations, financial control, regulatory compliance, and internal control review. He manages the commercial division to provide business and commercial solutions for doing business in Hong Kong and China.

Margaret Grice

Canadian Representative

Margaret is a graduate of the Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario and has over 20 years of work experience with the TD Bank Financial Group. During this time she held the roles of Vice President and Director of Global Trade Finance as well as senior roles in Merchant Visa Services and Small Business Banking.

Margaret is based in Toronto, Canada and represents Orangefield ICS' services to Canadian companies by providing strategic and tactical support to law firms, banks and businesses that are establishing operations or trade ties with China or other countries within Asia. She works closely with the Orangefield ICS' specialists in Hong Kong to support our client requirements in Canada, while engaging in new growth

Kit Lui

In-House Lawyer

Kit Lui is a business lawyer with over 15 years of private practice experience acting as a legal advisor for commercial ventures, public companies, entrepreneurs and family businesses. He enjoys his work as an In-House counsel and advisor to private clients on estate planning, charities and corporate clients using Hong Kong as a Gateway to Doing Business in China.

Kit was born in Hong Kong and educated in Canada. For his undergraduate work, Kit attended the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia in Canada and graduated with a major in Finance in 1985. After working in Toronto in the investment finance industry for 5 years, he returned to school and received a law degree from the University of Alberta Law School. He has been a member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 1997. 

Kit’s focus at Orangefield ICS is on legal consulting, trusts, estate planning, registration of corporate clients’ trademarks, and establishment of charities in Hong Kong.
